1947 Havana Cubans Throwback Authentic Home Flannel Jersey (Sizes 3XL-5XL) from Ebbets Field Flannels
Florida International League. Exact reproduction of the 1947 jersey. Authentic white baseball wool flannel with navy felt appliques and Cuban flag sleeve patch. Number on back. Please note that the number used on the jersey varies and is decided by the manufacturer. Made in USA. Although a baseball mecca for decades, the Cubans were the first Havana entry into U.S. baseball. In 1946, the Havana Cubans joined the Florida International League. Manager Oscar Rodriguez built a dynasty, as the Cubans won the FIL title every year from 1946 to 1950. The team was promoted to AAA status as the Havana Sugar Kings of the International League and adopted the slogan Un paso mas, y llegamos! (One more step, and we arrive!). When Fidel Castro took over Cuba, the team transferred to Jersey City during the 1960 season. This item is also available in sizes Small - XXL .
